Your betta looks stunning! The aquascape is also brilliant :)

I'm curious though, what plants are you growing?

Before... it was just a bare bottom tank aha... but now the betta is much happier... um plants I am growing.. I have java moss all over the driftwood with a couple of small size java fern i got from my other tank on the tips of the wood.. and then trying to form a carpet of lilaeopsis mauritiana (which are planted in substrate)... but not sure how well they will grow. I beleive I got the emersed form, so will also need to wait for them to change to the submersed form

lovely!
I want to do a couple of live small grass plants in a divided 10 gallon, each fish to have their own custom place.

That looks really nice. Maybe a nice sword would help even out the left side?

I really like it, keep us posted how the carpet goes!

I am thinking of some background plants on the leftside... but just not sure what to use as the vals i got can potentially go over 30inches tall.. wouldn't want those in the 2.5 gal aha

Mah, just trim them if they do! What about onion plants? They get tall and have a unique look about them.
