Looking for an inexpensive 2 1/2 gal.?

Just ordered this from Pet Mountain:

http://www.petmountain.com/product/a...-bowl-kit.html

Not fancy, BUT at $9.85 plus 6.99 shipping ($16.84 total in the door) you can't go wrong, IMO!

No, I would NOT put a goldfish in there even though it is called "Water World Goldfish Bowl Kit", but a betta? YOU BET!!!

Correct - but it DOES come with some gravel, a background & a plastic plant (which I wouldn't use).

Thats cool, buy a few more and you could make a plastic forest.

I was actually looking into getting the cheapest 2 gal system that money could buy. My GF wants a betta on her desk, I won't let her get a betta bowl, but a 1.5-2 gal I would go with. She's too lazy to do constant water changes so a filter would be helpful to space them out.
