Thanks, Arashi! It is my first pet ever so I am extra diligent to make sure they are well taken care of. To add to my worries, I just noticed that a few scales from his head came off yesterday. I changed his water, and when I put him back, I noticed the scales were slightly raised. Then he went and attacked the fake anemone at the bottom, one poked at his head and off they came. If I didn't see that happening, I would be worry about fungus infection because now there is a very small patch of bald spot on the top of his head. These would all have been the consequence of being in the stinky pet shop.

As for my other one, it is having a swim bladder problem. Been running all over today looking for antibiotics to treat him, but I am afraid this could be a genetic problem as he eats well, poops well, and no distended belly to show signs of being overfed or constipated. Poor thing, must be bored out of his mind only able to float about all day long :(

Thanks again for your warm welcome! This is a great forum with great people!

Cheers!
