mosquito larvae


If i wanted to feed my betta some mosquito larvae would i need to treat them so they are safe/clean ? or just pop them in the tank.

Also how mant should they have in one go ?

Its best to give them a rinse in clean water before feeding and the amount depending on the reason you are feeding them...if for conditioning to breed...mass feed several times a day otherwise...3-4 larva 2-3 times a day..depending on the larva size....
