Yes, but only with one eye. He does have the same green glow they were describing, though!

So weird. You could always PM Oldfishlady or Dramaqueen. They might know what's up with the spots on Saix. I've gotta say I'm at a loss. I'd say the spots were him changing color and becoming a marble betta but that doesn't explain the loss of appetite. Unless the two are totally unrelated.

Well like I said I'll try to get him some different food and see what happens. Maybe it is unrelated, I don't know at this point. Thanks for your help, though. :)

Sure, I just wish I could have helped more. Let me know if you find anything out. Now I'm curious. And also post if you need help getting Saix to eat.

I think it must be marbling.. If it looks like scales and is shiny, I can't think of what else it could be. Bettas change eye colour too sometimes. I think the not eating must be unrelated as Sakura said.. You have to think back and figure out what it might be...

I don't know why he hasn't been eating. I bought some bloodworms and pellets today. He completely ignored the pellets, but he couldn't resist one of the bloodworms I threw in. But as far as I know he only ate one. I can't find the other two now so either he ate them or they fell into the gravel. I hope he ate them when I wasn't looking.

I hope he ate them too. Maybe he thinks that because he's "new and improved" he's too good for pellets.

I don't know why he would think that lol! He's only ever had the flakes, so I don't see why he's being picky now haha

Honestly, who knows what goes through a betta's mind. I suspect it's something like, "What can I do today that will stress my owner out?"

I recently adopted this fish and i am still confused that should i buy a separate tank for this or i can keep this among all other fish.Actually i am not confirmed that either its aggressive breed or not.
