Question for experienced aquabidders...

As I posted a while back, I ordered a pair of bettas on aquabid and am so unbelievably excited to receive them. I got a message from the breeder today telling me they had arrived at the transhipper in the US. Since I paid for overnight, does that mean they'll arrive tomorrow?

Soooo excited.

You've already paid your transhipper right? Not just the breeder? I would email the transhipper myself. Since today is Monday, the transhipper may ship them out tomorrow :)

Yes, everything has been paid for. If they're shipped tomorrow, does that mean they'll arrive tomorrow, too? Or the day after? I'm getting a bit impatient, as you can see. :)
I did email Linda Olsen, but she takes about 3 days to get back to you once you've payed. Until that point, she's your best friend and answers immediately.

Yes never thought of that. I am hoping Linda alerts you to when she will ship. And usually over night means you'll get them the next day after shipping. So if shipped out at 10am Tuesday, you'll get them sometime Weds :)

The anticipation is killing me. I think I've checked my doorstep about a dozen times today. Thanks for the info Tisia. Not what I wanted to hear, but the truth hurts some times. :P

Overnight shipping counts once the item has actually been shipped. So if the fish just arrived today (and I realize I'm a day late on this thread) they usually won't be shipped out until the following day and then arrive at your door the day after that, or 2 days after arriving in the US.

Keep in mind that trans shippers receive hundreds of fish with each shipment. They have to unpack and check each fish to make sure it's still alive and hasn't received damage during shipment. Its basically impossible to receive and ship the fish on the same day.

Linda should have told you what her policy is, whether she ships the next day or the day after that.

Linda usually gets to me within a day, and I always get an email notification from her when she ships.

She got back to me. Thanks for all the replies. I was getting a bit impatient since she wasn't getting replying to my messages... She also addressed me as "Leslie" in an an email, which I was less than thrilled about.

I'm willing to forgive her as long as the fish get here in one piece. They arrive tomorrow morning. So excited!
