Found a SNAKE in my apt...

So I found a SNAKE curled up in the space between the fridge and freezer this morning. I dont know how the hell it got in here but there it was.

I live in Alaska so its got to belong to someone in this building. Its not like they are found in the wild here.
I put up signs so hopefully someone will claim it but in the meantime, how do i care for it? its now in 2 gallon storage container.

I think its about 1.5 -2.0 feet long but its skinny and ugly - a darkish olive green/brown color and no clear pattern.

I'm thinking it had to originally come from Petco as they are the only place that sells snakes, so it has to be something they carry...

Im hoping his/her owner claims them but if not I may keep it depending on what kind of snake it is. I dont want to keep something that can eat my chinchilla or dog.

Oooo If I had the equipment and was up by you... I'd take him in! Boyfriend would kill me, but snakes are cool!

Ooo I want him! Even if the color looks plain.. I think he's cute :)
Looks like a super small version of a big black snake we get around here.

Or it could be a King snake. either way they make great pets and don't get very big. 3-5 feet. :)
