If I found a snake in my apartment I'd be moving out that second! I'm utterly terrified of snakes. Even looking at a picture gives me the willies.

YLG, I was just thinking the same thing when I saw the post initially. How cool would that have been?

Very cool picture of it. We get tons of black racers down here that are really pretty.

We have a few that usually hang out/live in our yard somewhere...They're pretty harmless I think..I have never had one strike at me or anything...

Aw, it looks like some of the black rat snakes we get around here. I'm not sure how acurate this is, but I heard the minimum tank length is about 1 and half of the snakes size, so I think yours needs to be about 3 feet long

I love Rat Snakes. They make great pets. He's really pretty too. I don't think Kings are light underneath like that, but I could be mistaken. I think it looks like a Rat snake too.

hmm i was geussing it was a garter snake those are native to alaska but by the looks of it its not a garter snake

Looks like a Rat snake to me. We have a lot of those here in PA. They don't get that big and are usually pretty calm. Might want to ask around to your neighbors and see if anyone lost a snake. LOL
