Introducing a tank mate

Oh the anxiety...

So I just recently got a ghost shrimp to place in the tank with Sammich... wanted something to feast on the algae.

They've been separated but in the same tank for a bit now. I figured time to put them together. I have lots of hiding areas and plants for the shrimp and Sammich.

And he just found the shrimp.. which I'll probably name Ghosty.

He hasn't flared at the shrimp, but does look like he's harassing him a bit...

He swims up.... kinda darts at him and swims away... Ghosty is just on the move.

think things will calm down? Good thing ghost shrimp are .36 cents.

well i put a kori cat fish in with my betta and the get along good,to all the betta lovers out there kori cat fish can be put with any betta

Eh, not really any betta. I had a betta in with some cories and he got so irritated by the cories (granted they swam like they were on crack) that he slaughtered two in one night. And it was not out of the blue. He had been nipping their fins for a while, but Dad wouldn't let me separate them. Then one morning I woke up and saw dead cories. :(

yeah, I don't think there's such thing as a tank mate that all bettas will get along with. my bf's betta ripped the fins off and killed a cory as well.

N03113- Your shrimp miiiight get eaten. :/ I would have put more shrimp in there to behin with than just one. What size is your tank?
