Too much water conditioner?

I just realized that I was using too much water conditioner in my tanks. On the label it says that you use 1 teaspoon per 10gal and I was using 1 teaspoon per 2gal and for my 1gal bowls I was putting in 1/2 teaspoon. I've read the directions before and I think I was following the fin rot instructions, instead of the normal instructions since I use the API Stress Coat. Will there be any adverse effects and should I do a 100% water change? Thanks for your time. This is the only water conditioner my LFS carries so is there a better way to disperse the conditioner besides the unhelpful guess-the-amount cap it comes with?

I would not worry about it too much. Seriously the only water conditioner they carry? That royally stinks! As to how to dose more accurately, I would suggest a syringe to draw up the correct amount. You could probably get one at your local pharmacy.

Ooo thanks! I'll have to check out walgreens tonight then. :) It's a shame, I've had mannnny syringes in my place from having a child that frequently gets ear infections and never thought to save them. Oh well.. they can't be that expensive. Wonder if the pharmacist would just give me one if I told him I lost one for my son's tylenol or something.
