Exclamation My Ecojar and Bettas..

Hi everybody,
This is my first topic.
My name is Armağan Yücel Şahin.I'm from Turkey.
I have been keeping bettas for 7 years. And now,I have 4 bettas. One of my friend bred them.I'm confused about their gender. My friend sent them as 2 female and 2 male.Females are plakat. One male is plakat, too.Other male is doubletail plakat. They are about 6 months old.Doubletail plakat may be female,I guess. Can you help me about their gender? Here's some pictures:

Females' housee (it's a 5 liters jar.I inspired here:http://www.flickr.com/photos/2971001...th/2780574954/

Females.Sorry for pictures.I am not a good photographer

And males:

Respect,

Imbellis,

You have more experience with bettas than I do, but your jars/tanks look a bit small. Can I suggest you look for 2-3 Gallon containers instead?

I believe 5 liters is 1g, and many people here house bettas in bowls/tanks that size. I personally don't but it's not a golden rule :)

I can't help you with which are male and female but I do love the first male you posted!

Gbose,
There is no trouble about jar's size. It's enough for small bettas. When they become adult,I'll keep them in 4 gallon tanks. :)

Thank you Pitluvs :).

I like this. I plan on doing something similar with a 2 gallon cookie jar.

Thank you Littlebittyfish .It's so easy to set up.

Tisia,
I believe the male in the first picture is %90 male.Because, his body shape is like a torpedo. This body shape is special to male bettas.I hope doubletail will be male .
