So one of my tanks got a leak in it about a week ago, which left one of my males sitting in a betta cup overnight while I considered my options. I don't really want to buy another tank right now, as I didn't have room for the ones that I have. I also didn't want to go through the hassle of re-sealing the tank (at least not right now). I had no extra tank dividers. Then I saw my 55gal. Hmm... Well, he is docile enough, he wouldn't even breed a female

So I plopped him in with my two females and their pet pleco in my 55 gal and he is doing awesome! I have had zero issues after the pecking order was established (he is at the bottom lol) and no attempts to breed as I set up my filter to keep the surface of the water moving at all times (so no bubble nests). Just thought I'd share, as I'm pretty excited about it!
BUT
Please don't try this at home, I would never have done this unless I knew his personality very well, and was there to watch him the first 5 hours (I think it was 5 lol) he was in there.
