I thought about a scarf as a first project, but decided against it because I'd never use it! It rarely gets cold enough in Florida, hah.
I have some really nice soft bamboo yarn that I want to make something wearable out of, though.

Finally have something to share. It was teacher appreciation week this week at my son's school. I decided to quickly knit her up a drop stitch scarf. It is roughly 64" long or so. I hope she likes it. (She said her fav color was yellow btw)

Who wouldn't love that?! I wanted to knit my youngest son's teacher a gift but my kid vetoed that idea.

My son was SO excited that I was knitting his teacher something. He made her a card too. I don't think she will, but I really hope she opens everything in front of him. He gets so happy and excited to see people open their gifts from him.

What a beautiful scarf! I love that stitch :D

Installed an app on my phone called 'county'. It apparently helps you keep track of rows and stitches, but it really eats your battery life. It helps me keep track when I'm trying to make beanies x.x

I use a pen and paper to keep track of rows.

She sent my son home with a thank you card, I think she liked it!

Finally finished these socks. I should have paid attention when casting on #2 because the stripes don't match up. Please excuse my huge feet and pasty skin.
