Giggles you guys are nerds! I try to remember when buying yarn to go through the aliens and find one that already has the working end sticking out saves me time

My fav is when I can't even FIND an end, working or otherwise. Sometimes they get tucked into the skein so deep you have to pull it apart to find it.

I prefer to make a center pull ball with all of my skeins.

I love my ball winder. So do my cats, I have to lock them out to keep them from chasing the yarn as it winds.

Lol, Sakura! Reminds me of when I knit my first scarf.

My cat was playing with the ball while I was knitting. Didn't pay much mind until the working yarn started feeling damp in my hands. Kept knitting cos really, it's only cat spit, right?

Or at least that's what I thought until I tried to knit and found the yarn chewed eight in half XD.

OMG yes! My 3 cats all gather around to harass me when I wind my yarn. Even when I spin the all wait for the opportunity to snag at the yarn with their claws, LOL.

I don't like yarn cakes. I'm weird, but I think they are ugly! Which is why I wind it by hand.

One of my cats absolutely adores fuzzy yarns like mohair and fun fur. I have to put any project made with those in a really safe place or she fishes it out of the basket and runs around the house with it, the ball unwinding as she goes. One time I came home and the scarf was at one end of the house and the ball of yarn was at the other . . . still connected.

I used it once and from what I recall, I stunk at it.
