I haven't tried shorts yet but they sound like fun. I've made two tank tops and I have a sweater I started five years ago that I need help with the collar. I messed up while picking up the stitches and now it's a wreck. :/ I should just undo the whole thing and start over but instead I stuffed it in a closet and forgot about it. Now that I'm reminded I should haul it back out and take into my yarn shop for professional help.

I love scarves because I don't have to worry about gauge and making it fit.

Sooo true! >< I think I made my beret a bit too big... it's more like a slouchy hat. That's ok I guess though.

My first sweater I made was humongous. My mother saved it anyway but I wanted to burn it.

Aaawww hahaha. I would prob. have unraveled it and used the yarn to make a smaller one. xD
I feel like that's what I'm going to do. Make it too big or too small ><

I would love to attempt clothes though I haven't yet. Everyone wants me to knit them purses and honestly I'm tired of them! At least I get $$ from it.

I'm going to attempt a lacy shawlette for the first time soon. It's going to be a gift for my mom (if it doesn't turn into a disaster. LOL!)

Pick an easy lace pattern, just a basic k2tog, yo kind of pattern. Lace is really easy, you just have to concentrate a little more. I bet the shawlette will be beautiful.
