I like Bernat Satin, it's . . . well, satiny. XD But the steam method won't work. Instead, try laying it out on something absorbent and putting a warm damp towel over it. That may work to block it enough. Definitely post pics when you are finished, can't wait to see it.

Amigurumi or like a King Cobra scarf? For amigurumi, you'd almost have to knit the cape and then either starch it or run wire through the edges to get it stand up.

Starch, I think. Or the wire. Hmmm. Or knit the cape on extra small needles so it's really stiff and stays up on its own? I want pics of this cobra when you do finish it. :D

I went to SAFF and bought 4 skeins of yarn to knit my "through the woods" hood. When I get decent pics of them, I'll have to post! :D

Working on a crochet shrug to wear while in NYC. Hope I get it done in time. I checked my closet and realized I have soooo much yarn stuffed in there. So why do I never have the right yarn when I go to start a new project?
