DQ, knit or crochet? You could find an easy ripple pattern and just make it as big and long as you need.

Haha, yeah I know what you mean. After a while, you can only do so many ripple patterns. Hmm. There's always granny squares. XD

I'm not good at granny squares. I can't get them to lay flat. They curl up on me. lol

Oh! I used to know how to finger knit!

Does that count?

DQ, check out Red Heart Yarn | Yarn, Knitting Patterns, Crochet Patterns or Crochet Pattern Central - Free, Online Crochet Patterns - Beginner Crochet Instructions - Crochet Tips, Tricks, Testimonials and More! There are lots of great afghan/blanket patterns on there. Hopefully something will be big enough. (I agree, a lot of afghans are too small for my taste)

Miah, haha, sure why not. It's a craft, you're creating something so I guess finger-knitting works. :)

Wow, no one has any new projects? O.O

I thought I would post about the shawl I'm making for my mom. I've got a start on it, here is a WIP pic. The pic doesn't show the true colors of the yarn unfortunately.

Gorgeous yarn, Angelic. Did you dye it yourself?

Thank you!

No, it's actually dyed by a former boss of mine (I worked for her self-established company, but she did me wrong so I figured I'd gift the yarn that she gave me).

Well, she did dye a nice hank of yarn anyway even if she was a lousy boss. XD It will be a beautiful, beautiful shawl, Angelic.
