My Walmart "save"

I was in walmart about a month ago when I was this fellow. He was sitting with the other sick, sad bettas in walmart but he called to me. I put him in quaratine for 2 weeks and he looked good so I put him in my community tank with my tetras. That did not work out (the little pig kept eating all the food and swelling his stomach). I finally made him his own tank that I think turned out very well. I hope you like the pictures. I named him "Captain America"

When I brought him home

In my tetra Tank

In his new home. He has gotten darker since I have had him the white has almost turned completely blue.

Beautiful! And cute name. :) I had a wonderful male who did the same thing (called to me) and he had the same coloring! Hmmm I wondering if the coloring does have something to do with it? ;)

The name fits his colors perfectly! And congrats on the rescue! About a week ago I rescued Eugene from Wal-mart. Poor guy had eaten half of his tale he was so nervious, but no worries he is now doing great.

I hate shopping for fish supplies in my walmart because there are bettas scattered throughout the supplies saying 'save me!' Ugg. But I love to hear rescue stories, congrats!! Is he your only betta??
