Wink My fate...is in your hands

So, the 2 options are...

Breed Red (my avatar) with this girl http://www.petco.com/product/101071/...ttaHPLiveBetta who is $10.39(+ shipping). Red has been making HUGE bubble nest all the time! So I think you know what that means...

OR

A purple HMPK with orange edging around his fins at PetSmart. That looks like this (this is not him..just a pic I found off google)
http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=...:0&tx=97&ty=49 for $9.00. If you can't see the image type "purple/orange HMPK" on google, its the first one.

My fate is in your hands...chose wisely!

As said, the female in that photo is NOT, not at all, the female you're going to get. They dont sell them online, thats just a display photo.

If you're looking for that color, she's steel/grey, not purple. Purple fish are rare.

And btw (sorry for a double post)...

Just because a betta is making a nest, it doesnt mean he wants to mate.

Raising betta fry is expensive, can be difficult, takes a long time and takes a long time to find new home for fry.

You need to research more, especially if you're under the impression that he wants to breed simply because he is building a bubble nest.

A bubblenest is a sign of happiness and content, when the fish is in a healthy tank.

I of course mean no offense, but please- educate yourself first.

I am educated. -_- I breed veiltails and the fry got homes. Now, I'm doing it again. And from my mother's side they bred fish for a long time. A bubble nest is both: They are happy and are ready to spawn. And they want to spawn. http://www.bettafish.com/showthread.php?t=20058 If you look, it says Why are there bubbles on the top of my tank? And it means...their happy, healthy, and READY FOR SPAWNING. I know that a random person with no education in Bettas can't just say "Ooh! My Betta made a bubble nest! Imma breed him now..." I know how you breed them. I hope you understand that

And I hope you understand that no, it doesnt necessarily mean that they are.

Do what you've gotta do, though, d00d.

Bubble nests mean that they are content, or generally happy. If they make a BN when a female is around, then you can breed them. most males will make a BN even without a female. It's like a human getting random...um...yeah, like what happens when your a teen...*awkward silence* or that's what I think anyway...
