Talking Newspaper and betta fish

I submitted a ticked off thing to the Orlando Sentinel, and it made headlines in the subject! EEEEE!

Lol, sorry that this is not really A Betta chat thing but I was excited.
But now I will make it a Betta chat: Tell me about your Betta's personality.

Can't wait to hear about it! And I am still happy! It is being framed and hung on my wall!

EDIT: The thing I submitted was about Betta fish. Lol, wanted to clarify. I was ticked off about how people put Betta's in such small tanks that are not suitable for aquatic life.

Glad to hear that your piece made headlines! :D
My boy is pretty skittish, but he quickly learned that my fingers mean food, and he doesn't dash off to hide when I open the top of his tank. He does a little dance when he sees me, almost like he's begging lol.
And yesterday I got him to jump up and take a pellet from my finger. XD I was so excited. And I jumped a bit, because I didn't think he would do it. :P I think that he might not have the best eyesight though. I've heard that most cellophanes don't. He definitely recognizes me, but sometimes he won't see his food when I drop it in and I have to nudge it around a bit before he swims close and sees it.

Congrats on the article!!!!
Glad to hear the words getting out!!!!

My female Tihs is energetic and can never stop movng, shes bossy with her tank mates, two ghost shrimp, and she LOVES food

My male King is all about bubble nests, hes constantly working on one, hes a big tough guy around other fish but he LOVES people and will swim up to anyone.

My male Hercules is a sweet little guy, he has trouble swiming since he doesnt have much finage, but hes curious and a picky eater... and hes in LOVE with Tihs

My female Wildfire, is like her name says, shes a little fish full of energy, shes got looks and personality!

My male Pickle is still shy, hes skittish around people, gets scared at the smallest thing (I've only had him a day though)
