Honestly I think it's a strange idea and a little no offense but unsanitary. I mean you have fish water in the center of a table where people and even kids are eating...I dunno just makes me squirm.

They're contained enough that that isn't an issue to me. But I can see your point.

What a horrible thing. How terribly stressful for those poor fish. All the people, commotion, clanking silverware, young children and tipsy people putting things into their bowls...

It looks beautiful sure, but what did she do with the fish after? Is that really safe, even for a few hours?

This seems to becoming a trend. Thoughts?
i was at a wedding like that two days ago but they had bettas and at the end if you had a red dot under your seat you got to take the one at your table home so now we have three because a lot of people didnt want to take them home my mom and dad only let me and my sisters take three because we had to take them on the train (dont worry they are fine we got them in big tanks as soon as we got home ) but i think there were three of four left but some of the staff wanted them so it all worked out and now i have a veary pretty male now so its all good : )

sorry if the spelling is off my laptop is acting really weird it keeps changing the words its driving me nuts

Maybe we could all just have table covers printed with all our bettas on them, lol. Or plop pictures in the center of each table. Not sure how gaudy that would be but it's sentimental, right? Lol!

I think they are beautiful but, of course, so impractical and hard on the fish that I could never do it myself or even condone someone else doing it.

On that note though I had briefly considered setting up a Fluval Edge for my wedding on my table so my boy could be with me haha. Though I'd know he'd rather be home. c: (That and I'd spend the whole night afraid someone might hurt him.)
