So I got two new female betta today for my sorority. They are in QT and are healthy and active. They were a little stressed for about the first five minutes and then they began flaring at one another and after that their stress lines vanished.
Anyway my copper girl has a lump at the base of her right ventral fin that is around 2-3mm in diameter. She is swimming fine and all but her fin looks almost like a new feather sticking out of a quill. I am wondering if she didn’t injure herself during shipment as her breeder says he didn’t notice anything before she left. I thought I would make sure there isn’t anything I am not aware of that could be wrong with her. Anyone ever see anything like this before?
Thanks!
