So, I've narrowed it down to 2 possibilites... start a sorority, or a male betta with some other fish. I have some questions!
- In a sorority of maybe 5, would I be able to add other fish, or would it be overstocked?
- I already have one female betta, would I be able to add her to the sorority (I've read the sticky)?
- What types of fish are good with male bettas, and what are suggested? (no fin nippers, obviously)
I need your opinions, also pros and cons of these two ideas. Sorry for all the questions! Anything will help, thanks!
1: 5-7 females is a good number, i have 5 fems, 3 guppies and a large catfish in my 2 foot (not sure its water holding lol)
2: yeh she should be ok introduce all the females to the tank at once though to avoid a queen of the tank and having adding to the tank later, its easier to add them all together
3: neon tetras, guppies, rummy noses? mollies maybe
catfish plecos and such are also good, the cattys have purpose too they algae cleaners lol
