Pet Store Brine Shrimp

One of my local pet stores keeps a tank full of live brine shrimp and I was wondering, do you think it's healthy to feed these to my bettas or do you think they might have parasites or otherwise make my bettas sick? I'm not sure if feeder brine shrimp are as unhealthy and sick as feeder fish are . . .
