Not sure, its hard to tell. Part of me wants to say no because it doesnt look too manipulated, but then part wants to say yes. They may have done some minor editing and tried to make it more contrasted and the colors brighter.

I would hope they wouldnt have tried to manipulate the photo. If its not, that fish is beautiful.

The seller in question on Aquabid is a very reputable seller. I recently purchased a crowntail from him and he is GORGEOUS. Much prettier and healthier than even the photo that was posted. My crowntail has a gold overlay so his photo was bright and flashy as well. Before I purchased, I asked the seller to send me a few more pics, which he glady provided. I can say from experience with this seller, that he's very honest and communicated with me very well. The way he packaged the fish was also incredible. He was labled as "Live Fish" which also included temperature requirments. He arrived in excellent condition and wasn't missing one scale. His huge tale was even in perfect tact. My next aquabid purchase will certainly be through him! BTW: I don't know the seller personally - honestly! I just had a great experience!

not photoshopped the lighing makes him shine all over in the same way theres no varried shine. also the colour is on his body no out of the lines n the colour is even

the only way it could have been done is by someone decent at it and in several layers to get the right look

however this is an ex of a photoshopped fish:

Wow, that's great C: I wasn't trying to bash him or anything, just saying that that betta is pretty wild with the colors, so I suspected it being photoshopped xD

I thought the photo of my crowntail was funky too! In the aquabid photo he looked like a shiny gold nugget!! I knew he couldn't be soooo shiny. So that's when I asked for other pics. I was shocked to see that the fish was actually multi-colored, but when he turns to the side in the sunlight, he looks shiny gold!!! He's just awesome. So I understand your question because I knew my aquabid photo was overly shiny as well. But wow, I got waaaay better than I bargained for!
