Fluval Chi Fish Tank?

I saw this tank at petsmart today and Im IN LOVE!

But I was wondering how it would do for a betta, I havent bought it yet and it will probably have to wait to be a holiday gift.... but its just TOOO cool!

Anyone have any idea how it would do for ONE male betta?

I like the looks of it. The only worry I have if it comes with som sort of lid. If it doesn't and you fill the tank to high there is a chance your fish can jump out.

I'm not 100% sure they do. the one on display at my PETCO did... it was really nice!

I'm getting one and like a red CT for my mom for her birthday.

When you get it, or if you find out prior, can you let me know?
The nearest petsmart to me is almost 2 hours away so I dont get a chance to go often

There is the Fluval Edge with a lid, and the Fluval Chi without. Our pet store has both on display.

Personally, and this is just my own opinion, I think these Fluvals are pointless. Another tank that 'looks' pretty and costs a lot but it's impractical. Another tank made just for decor, not for functionality. They do make some heck of a filter line up though!!
