Awww yeaaa!

After a week and a half of not eating, clamped fins and just sitting at the bottom of the tank, Lance has overcome his sickness and his fins have healed a little. Don't know if it was the melafix or not but awwwyeaaa!!

I'm glad Lance is feeling better, yay! Healthy bettas equal happy owners. He looks really good in the pic, his fins look great.

But uhm, just for future reference, you might not want to use Melafix again. It contains an ingredient called Tea Tree Oil that can (not always but CAN) damage a betta's labyrinth organ that they use to breathe air from the surface. Also don't use Bettafix for the same reason.

Yea I can def smell the tree oil in the melafix, if he gets sick again ill prob use aquarium salt. Can't wait to get him out of his gallon cube into something bigger, prob 3 gallon!

He'll be happy to be out of the "hospital" tank and into a big tank. Hopefully Lance won't ever get sick again so you won't have to worry about treatment.

Glad to hear he's doing better! I'm sure he will definitely be happy to stretch his newly healed self in a bigger tank
