The new guys

Sanoske came from Petco. He was just to pretty to leave him there.
This pic kinda sucks but his scales are a metallic dark green


Balthazar came from walmart. He was there for a few days, and he seemed healthy so I took him home with me. Why Balthazar? I have no idea. It just came to me when I saw him. I looked it up and aparently one of the 3 wise men was named Balthazar.


This guy came from walmart about 3 weeks ago. he had a bad case of fin rot and was very lethargic when I first got him. He is doing much better now and his fins are regrowing nicely.

The green one was from petco. I'm thinking they had just got a shipment in, his ammonia level was "only" at 1.0

The other two were from walmart. It was either balthazar or one of their ugly, HUGE females. He was giving me a look saying please take me. He was white but now he is pastel pink

I have never gotten really high ammonia readings from walmart. It has always been petco where the readings are at 4.0.

I'll bring a camera and see if I can sneak a pic of the girls at walmart. The pet section is a back corner and I never see any employees over there.

I was at petco today and their bettas looked horible. I have never seen them so sickly looking before. They were all clamped with fin rot and peices of god knows what floating in their dirty brown water.
