Question The critters that come with NPTs!!!

So I have copepods in my planted aquarium. Which is actually pretty awesome. Not my video, but exactly what I've got.

But I also have these things, which may or may not be planaria... They honestly creep me right out because I don't know what they are. And they are worms. I always make sure to wash my hands twice after cleaning the tank!

So my question: What are they (both copepods and worms) eating?!? There are no fish in there (yet). My only guess is that they are eating the decaying plant material (under the Christmas moss there is a bit of dead stuff).

This picture is old, but gives you an idea of the brown, decaying plant material I was talking about. The moss is actually doing just fine too. Lots of growth. Any thoughts about what they are eating or if I should be worried about the unknown worms? Thank you!

I had a large amount of copepods in my tank for awhile...eventually they slowed down...I am not sure what they were eating though...I only see one every great once in awhile now...Planaria usually show up when there's extra food around for them to eat...So maybe they are eating the decaying stuff...Moss likes to hold in anything. haha..I have a piece of clay pot covered in moss...What I do is I "vaccum" it with my gravel siphon when I am cleaning my tank.I press my siphon down into/onto the moss and i always get alot of stuff out of it..you can also use a toothbrush to help get the decaying stuff out..My shrimp like to pick stuff out of it too.
