I didnt plan to get attached to any specific fry until they were grown but it happened anyways :)) The one my male stole with him to his tank im attached to, and this large one that id accidentally put in my mosquito larvae bucket that grew large fast im also attached to. Then today i see a big fry in my fry tank that i never knew existed, its been living in the plants, but its so cute xD Its hard for me to not become attached xD Good luck :D

I know what you mean about getting attached, its just really hard not to get a least a little attached, even in the very beginning, especially when the fish you have is something very specific you searched for, it makes it very special to you in a way. It gets even more difficult when its the fry from a fish you searched specifically for...that's just plain nerve wrecking! But, I suppose if I'm going to breed betta's I "betta" just buck up and do my best for my fish and not worry so much
