Sounds like a cool idea.

Pic 1 from yesterday, no fish and no live plants.
Pic 2 from today after the addition of Freedom, a piece of driftwood with plant, and a new live plant.

Changes for today- 100 % water change because i was tired of the freaking cloudy water. What happens this morning? water's cloudy again. Anyway, that also meant taking out the little itty bitty amazon sword because i moved things around too much while performing the water change. (also it lost a leaf in the process :[ )

Couple of changes for me as well- I happened to trip and fall at work today- landed on my elbow and there is the possiblity that it is fractured, which means that i will not be doing as much work on my tank as what i used to. (Mainly that just means 50 % water changes a week and daily feedings and clippings)
