So I just got two new Betta's from Petco, I'm not sure if their healthy..

I'm preparing for a sorority, and I know it's best to get all your Betta's from one place, but I already had one female, and so I got two today because my friend took me to Petco, but I wanted to wait until I got the rest because my sister wanted to help pick them out. I'm getting the other two tomorrow.

There's one that's blue and red, she seems to be healthy(though she's kind of big, at least compared to the other new girl) I gave her some food and she was really eating well. I was watching and she wasn't spitting anything out. I fed the little yellow one, and she didn't really eat anything and didn't seem to care about it. I'm worried about her. She looks really really bent. like her tail part is just bent to her side and I don't know if it will go away or if it means she's unhealthy. She's also got some dark patches on her yellow, like just darker bits of yellow, but I think it may just be the way she's colored. And her stomach area looks really big.. but that might be because she's so small. Is she still a fry?!

I took a video, so hopefully someone can tell me if they're healthy! Thanks!!

Wooww the red/purple one is soo pretty!
The yellow isn't a fry, but she does look bloated. Also, don't feed them flakes- it makes them bloat. Use pellets instead.
I wouldn't feed the yellow one for 2-3 days, see if that doesn't help the bloat. If it doesn't you can put her on an epsom salt treatment or feed her daphnia.

Oh ok, thanks! Yea, someone told me before that pellets are better. I think I'll pick some up tomorrow when I get the other fish. What do you think about the yellow one's tail? Was she just bending it by herself or is something wrong? I was watching her and she does straighten up, but just looks very bent when she's turning or something, so I don't know what's going on. I took a picture of her blotches, is it normal?

The blotches are probably just her coloring.
hmmm the tail...I'm not so sure. It might be just because she's in such a small space.

Possibly, yeah. Or it could be ammonia burns.
She's bloated so I wouldn't doubt her having ammonia poisoning from those little betta cups. :<

She would be really lethargic, not swimming as much, and clamped up- but I didn't see that in your vid- so it's her coloring. :3 yay!
And just in case you come across ammonia burns, you treat them with an Aquarium salt bath.

Oh, yay! Thanks! I have no idea how long she's been in the cup for, but I hope it's just her coloring, because it looks kinda cool. She's swimming ok. I put all their cups close to eachother(well, one's a bowl) and the two I just got were watching eachother from their cups! Maybe that's a good sign that they'll get along(crosses fingers). And my original Betta, Mystique, never seemed aggressive or anything. She's rather shy, actually. I really hope this sorority thing works out.
