Exclamation I don't know whats wrong

my male crown tail betta Sparky has been having these weird dark splotches on him I think he's had them when I first got him but I've been reading about all these illnesses that Bettas can get and I'm not sure if he has one, here are some pictures;
his color is white but he has a blue shiny coat to him he changes colors depending on lighting. maybe its his color changing? I'm not sure /: please help (my 10 gallon tank is cycling right now btw that's why he's in the container I got him in)

I'm new to betta keeping but I'm pretty sure thats not a crown-tail. I believe that is a double tail. I just read this article about betta marbling:
http://bettysplendens.com/articles/p...articleid=1114
Maybe someone else can answer better, but maybe this is what is going on with him. From the pictures they look like blue veins. It looks cool. :)

Oh here is a link to the thread with all the betta types listed out:

He looks like a marble. They change colour through out their lives. Perfectly normal

Beautiful doubletail and as long as his behavior isn't changing, he's probably marbling up. Do post back if he stops eating or becomes lethargic or bloated. Gorgeous, gorgeous fish.
