Smile Looking at my betta in a new light.

Today i decided to try looking at my betta with a flashlight ( avoiding his eyes of course). What i noticed was specks of red in dark blue covered Neptune. Also there was a streak of red on his ventral fin. I'm pretty sure it's not anything bad, probably just his natural coloring that i've never seen. Either way, it looks amazing. He's in my pic except you can't see it because of my terrible camera. Anyway, even though I'm pretty sure there's nothing to worry about, I would love an outsider's opinion. Thanks.

I love looking at my Betta with a flash light because as you said, all that natural coloring that you can't see in regular light, then you sart to relize how beautiful your fish really is. And how far they have come since that first look. Is Neptune the one in your avatar?

yep that's him. I looked at him again with a flashlight, and the red streak is getting bigger i think(maybe it's just me).

i think it's because the way the light is hitting him and his surroundings that are reflecting off of him make his colors change .. i'm not sure why this happens ..
