Bump because he's still not well (changed his tupperware water twice in 8 hours). I'm going away this weekend for two days and I don't want anything bad to happen while I'm away...I could bring him up but I don't know if he's stable to travel 1 hour in the car :(

Ah I'm sorry your boy isn't feeling well :(

Is that his normal coloration? Do you have a thermometer in his tank atm? Was there a dramatic temperature change recently? Were there any storms in your area today (or yesterday or forecast for tomorrow?)?

My only suggestion would be to throw in an extra 20-25% water change in the middle of the week since there are two bettas in there... Was the tank cycled before adding them or was it cycled very recently?

Otherwise, for now, keep him in the QT and float him in his tank... Check his QT regularly for poop. He doesn't look too thin but poop (or lack thereof) can mean a lot of things... constipation, internal parasites, etc... Aquarium Salt was a good call. If you have tannins, black water extract or IAL that would also be a good addition.

Keep us posted!

Thanks so much Darkmoon! T_T

Yeah he's normally purple, he hasn't changed colours at all. The thermometer in the tank is reading at 82/83F. The only "dramatic" temperature change was when I noticed the tank was very hot (around 85F+) so I put in a double baggy of ice to cool it off a bit. This isn't the first time I've done that though...maybe I put a little too much ice?

It rained for the first time in weeks yesterday, but it was just about an hour of heavy rain.

I will increase my water changes now that Skittles is sharing it with him. The tank has been cycled for about....3 weeks

For tannins, I have decaf green tea in those circular bags like this:

Are these okay to use? I was told they were...if it is ok, how much water/how long should I steep them for?

He just pooped, it's a beige/brown colour and no wormies or anything. I'm floating him in his cup with 1/4tsp salt and some green tea. Still looks the same... :(

He looks SO sad...I really hate this, I don't want to lose him after losing Bobo...

I...I can't stay awake anymore, I just hope he will be okay tomorrow, but I'm going to brace myself for the reality.

Please get better soon, Lelouch
