Fin Type?

We picked up another Betta tonight, and I am not sure that it was identified correctly.

The picture doesn't really do him justice as he is much brighter colored than it shows. But they had him labeled as a Half Moon Double Tail. I really don't see the double tail and am wondering if he is actually something else. Maybe a Rose Tail? His tail seems to overlap the dorsal fin and caudal fin, which I believe would be atypical of a half moon.

The female on the other side of the divider gets him all worked up so it's been hard to get a good picture, but here are a couple I have.

Any thoughts?

He's a double tail. Also looks to be a bit of a rose tail as well. Pretty fish, just not breeding material. He'll be a great pet though, he's very pretty.

I don't plan on breeding them. Too many logistical problems with what to do with the offspring, and the fear that I would end up with a large hatch. I just see myself stuck spending a couple hours a night doing water changes on all the non re-homed babies.

I will stick with the few we have here, and try to keep my fiancee out of the pet stores like she tries to keep me out of the sporting goods stores.

It's funny, if I had a Betta like him here, I'd make a mint breeding :P People here will take anything as long as it's not a VT. The local store even asked me to breed Bettas for them, since I can get different tails online.
