new spawn log hopefully

here is a new attempt with two new guys to the scene. here are some pics of the tank it is set at 83 but it is floxing between 80-83 so maybe i can get that to stabilize. the water level is about 8 gallons at current. i am trying this method since the last one didn't work well for me.

both of the fish have been conditioned for two weeks with blood worms and i have a microworm culture going for the little ones if i get any and they make it to free swimming.

that's white boy for the lack of a better name. he has a red wash to all his fins but he's more irridescent than the pic shows too.

if my female is still stripy through the week we will put her in the chimney wednesday and release her friday morning for the weekend spawn.

he's finally built that nest. so maybe i shall introduce my female in a few hours to the chimney.

my female has been in the chimney since sunday. she had her stripes when she went in and lost them about an hour later and didn't get them back. i think, i'll recondition and try again.
