Dragons

okay So I did some looking but couldnt come up with a definitive answere. What makes one a dragon? is this a good or bad thing?? I keep seeing the term, but Im not sure what im looking at or for?

A dragon is a type of coloration on the betta. Usually you can tell what a dragon is because the scales look thicker -as if there's multiple scales piled on top of each other-, metallic scaling on top, and are often times outlined in another coloration. There's nothing wrong with being a dragon, it's actually a coloration that many people like the look of. SOMETIMES, however, the dragon scaling can end up on the bettas' eyes, hampering the ability to see somewhat.

thats interesting, my new one is probably a dragon too. his body is pale but there's a turquiose green metallic shine on 90% of his body. the top half of his head down to back of gills has nothing but some green shine is under his eyes also. can dragonscales make a betta blind?

As CodeRed said, if the scaling ends up on the eyes it can cause blindness.
