Tank renovating, before and after (:

so i'm planning on buying a few things for my tanks this week, among those things some new decor (: i thought i'd post some before and after pics for the process.


okay, so this is demi's tank-




this is flair's side of his and pierce's tank-

and this is pierce's side-
(he isn't in there right now cause i'm filtering. i have to take the fishies out of their side until i get my sponge filter this week. he's in a bowl, chillaxing with some epsom salt)





the ish on the side is some leftover aquarium glue i gotta get off whenever i clean the tank.

I've got the same kind of heater. I really do wish it was adjustable, but I've never had any problems with it overheating or underheating the tank. It's hard to catch the light coming on, but my tank always seems to be at just the right heat.

I've had mine for about a month and a half now with no problems, but I don't know if I just got lucky or if there's a life expectancy to it that I haven't reached yet.

I've also seen a few people post pictures of their tanks with these heaters in the background.

i've had it for about a day but so far it works perfectly (: it's not adjustable but it keeps the temp even. it's better than the other one i have, the elite, it's adjustable but needs watching. haha.

Oh thats funny. I have the same heater in 2 of my tanks. Keeps them at about 78-80... so far, so good! Had mine probably..... for....... oh gosh, months. Not sure.

I've never had an issue with my heater and I've had it for a month or so, neither has my friend. They're the cheaper brand but I think they do a good job. Their filters on the other hand....
Your tanks look nice can't wait to see the "after" pics :)
I'm also currently planning on redecorating a 10gal to move everyone into. It's fun doing a tank!!

so i took $15 and bought some fake plants from walmart and two coffee cups (: i used aquarium glue & some plastic canvas that i had leftover from making the divider.

i got pierce a red cup and flair a blue one ;)
i didn't get demi as much cause i didn't know how much she'd want with her smaller tank. but i did put a flower in there, haha, for kicks and giggles. she seems to like it, the third blurry photo shows her chilling in the center of it (:

pierce i made a little fern fence to put around the divider, since i know flair keeps intimidating him. i placed the cups opposite each other so they can hide away from each other if they can even see each other anymore.
