Kordon Ick Attack

My betta appears to have velvet, and because of other diseases in my tank, I have a bottle of Kordon Ick Attack. It treats lots of stuff other than the obvious, and it is safe for snails, which I will soon purchase. Will this help him? Also, I removed the carbon filter because the directions said to do so. HELP!!!

Are you certain it's velvet? Velvet is a lot harder to treat because during part of the parasite's life cycle (the encysted stage), it's pretty resistant to chemicals.

That said, I believe what you have will help if he does have velvet.
