RIP Wendigo...

I was just informed by a co-worker on FB that my work betta passed away today. This is the message he left,

You may need to sit down for this news (as i take my hat off). Your fish has passed away. He was a noble fish. Bring a new one to work on Monday. Everyones condolenses go out to you (except mine).

Jerk!

A Betta is overlooked in life , and replaceable in death according to people such as this person seems. Sacred are those that care for these fish, Stupid are those that are Careless. RIP Wendigo.

My sympathies to you for your loss of Wendigo. I am sure he had a good life despite moronic coworkers :(

Thanks guys. I replaced Wedigo with Gilly my orange dal DTPK and I'm sad to say he also passed away . I'm starting to think something is up with the water so I've decided not to keep anymore bettas at my work.

As insensitive as that person is about your fish, and you saying another one just passed away at work, i would be looking into whether or not somebody is killing them on purpose or not.

I work at a pet resort, we're all animal lovers here. Even though my co-worker said that he wouldn't kill my fish. He was just trying to annoy me.
