False Alarm?

I got a new Betta yesterday, and I noticed he has weird grayish white patches on his face. Actually in my truthful opinion they look kind of good/natural? I remember this happening to my last Betta and members from this site told me it was perfectly fine, and it had something to do with residue from the store cup. My last Betta was fine with it, but I cant remember now if it ever went away? Hes in a 6 gallon heated filtered tank and has no problem swimming eating flaring etc. I just want to know how I could get rid of them or if they are a problem. Thanks

What color is your betta? A lot of bettas have grayish patches on their heads, especially darker colored red or blue bettas. Keep an eye on the patches for a few days and watch his behavior but otherwise I would say they are normal.
