Want to Get Rid Of

I want to get rid of my goldfish to have more room for bettas.It's because I might be getting a hamster for the empty 10g then I realized "What am I going to do when I breed?Girls can stay will the goldfish since they have before no problem.But I dunno.

Bettas and goldfish need very different temp ranges to be happy.
To keep one happy, the other must suffer. Even the middle ground... neither will be happy.

Dont get rid of one fish just to get another. Thats just bad pet ownership.

To be perfectly honest, and I dont mean to offend...

If you're considering Breeding but are willing to get rid of another fish as well as put two highly incompatible fish types together, I dont think you're prepared to breed fish and the challenges that will present themselves from it.

Calm down.I'm probably not going to get rid of them.But really the goldfish can be such a pain since their filter keeps stopping and such.Plus the only reason bettas were there is because the water stays about 80 degrees for me year round because my room is near the attic. :/

80* is WAY too hot for goldfish... you need to be adding ice cubes of dechlorinated water to their tank as well as investing in a fan to help cool the water.

TBH if you can't properly house and take care of them maybe you should get rid of them. Goldies are very senstive and intelligent fish. They do not deserve to be treated poorly.
