My first fish died. She was a Phantom tetra. She was new to my tank, having only been in it for a few days. I feel like I ruined her life. She was beginning to adjust, but just a while after she was introduced, it was time to clean my tank. This scared all of my fish except Poseidon, my first fish. He is the only betta in my tank. All other fish are phantom tetras. After my tank decor was rinsed, I put it back. I couldn't see in my tank, and she was crushed by the plants. I actually have no idea how this happened. She must have been asleep. I buried her in the garden, and will plant a live plant in my tank to remember her for, like a tree for a land pet or person. I didn't even name her or my shoal before this tragic incident. At least she wasn't killed by a disease, so my others are safe. Don't ask why I put this here, because I have no idea. May she rest in peace.
