Beautiful fish. Must be a trend to give them Greek names now. I have a blue female also named Athena.

I'm kind of in love with the last guy, Hades...
I cant believe you found him at petsmart. I wish the petsmart closest to me had cool fish like that.

I'm pretty sure Hades is a Rose Tail. He's gorgeous!

Thanks! I know i couldn't believe it either, i wasn't going to get a fish, but my boyfriend pulled him out from ALL the way in the back. Since i had been looking for a black betta, i definitly had to get him.

So i've recently added 3 new guys and 1 gal to my home..I have pictures of two, still have to get pictures of my GIANT HM King Betta (he is 3 inches long and like triple the size of a normal betta i couldn't believe how big he was!) I had to buy him bc he was smushed in a TINY cup and couldn't even turn around..he is a beautiful lavender color with a little bit of white on the tips of his fins. I also rescued my first betta the other day..this tiny steel blue ragged CT..he is so tiny and starved his mouth and eyes bulge out of his body, i feel so bad for him..he seems to be doing better today and finally swimming around more and eating. Hopefully his fin rot goes away soon and he grows some beautiful fins! :D Anyways here pics of my new gal and new guy
Here is the dark blue/red VT i rescued from pet supplies plus..he has a little bit of fin rot going on but as soon as i put him in clean water and a bigger home he had built a bubble nest :)

And here is my red/green CT girl

-sigh- i have 14 now, which i believe is my limit, space wise but i love them all

Those aren't their REAL homes, are they? Those containers are WAY too small. 1.5 gallons is the absolute MINIMUM requirement in my opinion, but 2.5 gallons is optimal. Please upgrade if those are their only homes.
