i used to have pics of Zidane's. he lives in a 2 gallon Sterilite bin, and will fill the top with them! he has a fish bowl as his cave, and he LOVES building in it! he's an amazing nester!

Ahhh it makes me want to breed (the fish, not me!) but I know I would have no time to. I already live in a zoo without the added worries of making babies!

i posted this a little while ago and was told by some it was fin rot and tail biting by others, i have started him on a salt treatments with stress coat water conditioner and daily 100% water changes, it that what i should be doing either way?? i dont want mixed advice that could harm my fish im quite fond of him

I know how you feel. Mine was definitely not biting because I've never seen him chew on himself nor have anything in there to chew on him

First off - Don't panic like I did

thanks, i am panicking though i lost a goldfish to fin rot about a month ago, thats how i got the betta, he was a present to make me feel better. and now he has fin rot and i dont want him to die too!!!!!! plus i hate when living things suffer

no the goldfish was in a bowl,(won him at a carnival) i was going to upgrade the bowl to a 10gal tank since goldfish need a lot of room, but then he got sick after about 2 days and i never did get a bigger tank.

then i got my betta and i upgraded. ive had him in this tank for about a month and hes been fine. =(

This might be bad to say but I kind of like his damaged fins - they have a interesting look. Though I do hope he can swim alright with them and he gets some healthy regrowth all the same c:

my boy has this cute cute cute lil curly-Q strand of fin on his belly its so cute. it literaly looks like a tendral its adorable doesnt seem to bother him so i havnt worried about it yet.
