Really???? What is wrong with him?

So I just finished feeding all of the Betta's, as usual, Tihs, Hercules, Pickle, King, Chile, Finn, then Pickle again (Chile and Finns crushed, Pickle gets two pellets)
Well, Hercules did the WIERDEST thing, he has NEVER done this before so I am so confused...
when I dropped the pellet in, he started swimming around and flaring at the pellet, after about 2 mins, he finally decided to eat the soggy pellet... does anyone elses betta do this?

That is just TOO funny! Maybe he is doing battle with the "intruder" then, as the "victor", he eats him - LOL!!!!

lmao, maybe, hes got a lot of personality, he is my free betta, ome idiot at walmart put him in the cup with another male betta, I happened to get there before he was killed, he was the "loser", my male betta King is the one he was in the cup with
So Herc needs all of the confidence boost he can get

A few of mine flare at the krill chunks I put in their tanks every once in a while. Ratchet, Starscream, and Mirage do at least. I know my sister's tumor boy does too, but he'll flare at her cat for being next to the tank or on top of it.

I think it's their little way to boost their confidence.

I gotta agree Pata, it is a confidence boost, I moved Hercules to a 3 gallon next to Tihs, and I had to block his view caus he went CRAZY, though now he obbsessed with that side of the tank, lol
