Hello, I'm new around here. I used to have fish as a kid with my mom when I was 6-9 and my mom would do most fo the work. We breeded Bettas and such. I'm almost 16 now, and today I got a 29 gallon Oceanic Bio-Cube. I'm setting up with my mom in a little while and in a few days for my birthday my friend is buying me a Betta fish. So any advice for someone new?

I have a sorority in a 29 gallon, i couldn't imagine a single in one they'll be even more stoked then my harem.

BioCube is an awesome tank because it's equipped for reef (marine) capabilities. Meaning I believe it cycles super fast and has awesome capabilities. He's gonna love it and you can get lots of tank mates. My only suggestion is make sure you either get a floating betta log, floating plants, or tall plants so he can rest near the surface. It's harder for bettas to swim up and down in tanks that are deeper like yours.
