Uhm, so if I'm reading this correctly, your fish was caught under the filter? And that is when he started showing his symptoms? How long was he caught under there? He may have some lasting effects from not being able to surface and breathe. If that's the case, then there's not a whole lot you can do but what you are already doing, which is keeping the water clean. He is probably pale because of the stress he went through.

Can you give me any more details about his behavior?

he used to be behind the tetra 1.5 gal filter for about a few days

http://s.petco.com/assets/product_im...798291329C.jpg

then i suddenly i found him laying at the bottom.

he never got stuck under the filter.

currently he is now just laying side at the bottom of the tank, and barely moving...

How long has it been since he's last moved? How old is your fish / how long have you had him?
If there hasn't been any movement whatsoever, (sorry that I should say this) chances are that he's probably almost dead. :(
Please reply soon.

he usually moves when i'm trying to feed him before... and he stopped eating about 7~8 days ago. and day by day he gets weaker and weaker =(

unsure of age, but i bought him from petsmart about 9~10 months ago?

i just hope he still has a chance.

Some aquarium salt wouldn't hurt, but I'd wait till someone experienced can confirm that.
Just keep the conditions stable & look for any improvements.
Try picking him up in the net to the top (don't take him out) to feed him if he doesn't come up.

Okay, sorry, I read that wrong. So he was just hiding behind there. And you did daily water changes while he was in the tetra 1.5g tank? Normally I would be saying severe ammonia poisoning but if you kept the water clean, then . . .

Well, at this point I'm guessing he somehow got a very bad internal bacterial infection. That he is just lying there is not encouraging. I would agree with KGS about the aquarium salt. Predissolve 1 tsp of aquarium salt and then gently pour it into his tank with him. It can only help. Also, if you want, you can try treating him with Maracyn II. It's a bit costly ($9-$20) but if you feel like he has a chance, then go for it.

Keep him warm and keep the tank as dim and quiet as possible. Also, lower the water level in his tank to about 2" so he can reach the surface easier to breathe. Try feeding him frozen foods like frozen bloodworms and see if he'll eat those.

I'm sorry, I wish there was more we could do. Good luck and please keep us posted.
