Question I'm so frustrated! >_<

Okay... it's been about a week since I started one of my boys in AQ salt treatment (to promote growth and recovery of some pinholes).

Well, today I noticed one area where he had a pinhole, the section is ripped. GAH!!
Everything else with him is fine, there is no sign of rot!
I'm pretty sure this isn't rot. There is no damage or rotting of his spikes. The problem is only with the webby stuff in between
He is swimming normally, eating fine too.

I just don't understand and I'm so frustrated!
I am going to keep him in treatment for two more days, then put him back in freshwater.

Can anyone help me?
Is it supposed to get worse before it gets better?
Are some CTs just going to have rippy looking fins?

Thnx...

Pin holes tend to rip, unfortunately. Keep him in the AQ salt treatment for a full term, 7-10days. It does get worse before it gets better :)
